Thomas A. ‘Tom’ Ryerson is an independent author based in Woodstock, Ontario. He has written sixteen books over several different genres; including a collection of his poetry, three biographies, a family genealogy, and a ghost-write on a reference book about Def Leppard. Tom’s writing is an attempt to reach out to as many different readers of all ages as possible. The Ryerse-Ryerson Family 1574 – 1994 is a genealogy on his paternal family tree with a printing of 800 copies. Castle Lake is a ghost story set in the late 1880’s, Travelogue is a family drama set over a 40 year period, Fun City is a science fiction fantasy, April’s Call is a psychological thriller, Castle Lake 2 and 3 carry on the story of Alicia Murdock and things that go bump in the night, Carnal Wreckage is Tom’s lyrics and poetry, Those Three Words is a biography on his cousin Karen Litwin and a A Bigger World is a biography on his great-grandfather W. Edwy Ryerson. The Last Girl on Earth is a teenage dystopian adventure while The Anatomy of a Mermaid is an alternative history tale of a group of ruthless people living for their own pleasures, and the consequences. Survival Instincts is the life story of his aunt who was born and raised in the Philippines. Tom’s current work in progress is the three volume set, “That Brant County Sound,” the true story of Jim Allison and Thunderbird Records of Burford, ON. Volume One (The Yellow Book) came out on July 21st 2017, while Volume Two (The Brown Book) was released on Nov 4th 2017. Volume Three should be ready for April 29th 2018.
