Oxford Creative Connections Inc. invites all Oxford Creative Connections Members to apply for “Oxford Creates Arts Expo” 2017 – Arts Show and Sale.

“Oxford Creates Arts Expo” is a juried showcase featuring contemporary fine art and literature. The show will take place at Reeves Community Hall at Cowan Park, 895 Ridgewood Drive Woodstock, ON, N4T 0A6.

As the largest indoor art exhibition in Oxford County, “Oxford Creates Arts Expo” – 2017 will offer a fresh alternative to conventional art shows and galleries. Side by side, established artists and authors will show and sell their works directly to the public, making lasting connections.

Show Hours:

Saturday, November 18th, 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Sunday, November 19th, 12:00 noon – 4:00 p.m.
Set up – Friday, November 17th, 12:00 noon – 7:00 p.m.

Oxford Creates Art Expo” – 2017

To qualify:

  1. All artists must be a member of Oxford Creative Connections
  2. All work must be created by the artist. (You may not display or sell work that you have not created).
  3. Artists must be present at their booth or have a representative there during show hours.

Jury Selection Process:

If the number of applications exceeds the number of booth spaces, the show will be juried. Selections will be based solely on digital images submitted. The juror’s decision is final. We will strive to have a diverse show featuring many different art forms in order to make the show interesting to the public. This, along with quality of work, will be the mandate of the jurors.

Booth size:

Booths may be shared by two or more people i.e. guilds may apply or two or more artists. Booth sizes will be ten feet wide and six feet deep and will cost $95.00.  All artists will be responsible for their own display system. i.e. racking, easels, tables, etc. There are a limited number of free tables available so please specify if you need one on the application form attached. They will be given out on a first to apply basis.

For those artists who prefer a table top display i.e. pottery, you will be given two large round tables. Prices – same as above.

**Please note that your display area will not be larger than the specified size. Please plan your display prior to arriving at the show in order to ensure that you will fit into a 10 x 6 booth. You may wish to have a booklet on your table showing all available work and then place your extra work under your table or in your vehicle.

Security:

The Reeves Community Hall will be locked when OCCI staff is not present.
